With this universal welding clamp, you can connect up to three solid, multi-core or fine-core electrical wires. Connecting these wires is also referred to as welding or soldering. Welding electrical wires creates a welded connection to conduct electricity. The handy transparent housing allows you to quickly and easily check the connection. 

Step-by-step plan for using the welding clamp

1. Ensure that the power is switched off. 
2. Strip the electrical wires to a maximum of 11 millimetres.
3. Open the clip, insert the electrical wire into the clamp and close the clip. 
4. Check that the correct connection has been made. This can be done simply by switching the group in the fuse box back on. 

Minimum and maximum wire thickness

The fine-stranded electrical wires may have a minimum cross-section of 0.2 mm² and a maximum cross-section of 4 mm². The solid and multi-stranded electrical wires may have a minimum cross-section of 0.34 mm² and a maximum cross-section of 4 mm².
