Looking to buy emergency lighting? Then you've come to the right place. We offer emergency lighting for both recessed and surface-mounted applications. The lighting is suitable for use as escape route lighting, anti-panic lighting and orientation lighting. All our emergency lighting fixtures have built-in batteries that ensure the fixture provides at least 3 hours of light in the event of a power failure. They also have a test button so you can simulate power failures. A number of models have an auto-test function. All our emergency lighting is approved for the European market (CE). We use high-quality materials in production. If you order before 11 p.m. on working days, your package will usually arrive the next day.
Why emergency lighting?
Emergency lighting indicates the fastest and safest route to the outside when the power fails. This allows people to leave the building quickly and safely in an emergency, for example. Emergency lighting helps prevent panic and reduces safety risks.
Surface-mounted emergency lighting
Surface-mounted luminaires are easy to install by attaching them to the ceiling or wall. All our surface-mounted luminaires come with clear instructions to make installation as easy as possible. We offer both standard surface-mounted emergency lighting with a test button and a more advanced version with a test button and auto-test function.
Recessed emergency lighting
Recessed emergency lighting can be easily concealed in a suspended ceiling, for example. This is ideal if you are looking for a beautifully finished result. We also offer matching recessed frames, which allow you to install the emergency lighting neatly. The fixtures are designed to provide at least 3 hours of light from the battery in the event of a power failure.
Continuous or non-continuous
Our emergency lighting can be set to continuous or non-continuous lighting. If you opt for continuous lighting, the light will also be on when there is no power failure. If you set the emergency lighting to non-continuous, the light will only come on when the fixture is no longer receiving power from the mains. The emergency lighting will then remain on for three hours. Three hours is usually sufficient for employees and visitors to leave a building.
Should I choose emergency lighting with a test button and auto-test, or only with a test button?
Many of our fixtures are available in two versions: with and without auto-test. The test button can be used to manually check whether the fixture's battery is intact. Fixtures with auto-test perform a monthly 2-minute function test and an annual 3-hour duration test.
Installing emergency lighting
Our range includes surface-mounted and recessed emergency lighting. In consultation with a specialist, you can determine how many locations require emergency lighting and how to install it.
Other pictograms?
We also offer separate pictogram sets . It is important to use the correct pictogram, as this shows people the quickest and safest way out of a building. A pictogram set with the usual directions is included as standard in the box with all our emergency lighting fixtures.
Replacing batteries
The fire brigade and fire safety specialists recommend replacing the batteries in existing emergency lighting every 4 years. This is because a battery is on standby 24 hours a day, which takes its toll after many years of use. You can also reorder separate batteries from us. This allows you to use the emergency lighting for many years.
