The Lex is a complete set that consists of three surface-mounted lamps, a transformer and a connector box. Due to the very low construction height of 8 millimetres, the spots are suitable for placement under kitchen cabinets. Installation is easy because the set is part of a plug and play system. This means that there are connectors at the ends of the spots that you can easily click into the connector box. The wire per spotlight is 1.5 metres long. The lamps operate on a 12-volt constant voltage supply, so the accompanying transformer is always needed.
The colour temperature of the light is expressed in Kelvin. The lower the Kelvin, the warmer the light. The higher this value, the whiter the light. 6000K can be compared to the colour of daylight. The Lex lights have a warm white light colour of 3000K with a light output of 2.5 watt per spot. 2.5 watt LED can be compared with about 27 watt halogen. So they are atmospheric and functional at the same time.
