We currently have three vacancies: 

1. All-round e-commerce customer service & back office employee German/Dutch

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who will make our customers happy and help run our webshop behind the scenes. You will start in customer service and have the opportunity to take on more and more tasks, such as publishing content, checking stock and improving processes.

 What will you be doing?

• You will help customers via email, chat and telephone with their questions about orders, products and deliveries.
• You will support German-speaking customer service, so it is important that you speak and write German well.
• You will ensure that everything is recorded neatly and correctly in our system.
• You will help to monitor whether everything on the webshop is correct and working properly.
• You will post content (texts, images) on the webshop and check that it is correct.
• You will provide support in the back office where necessary.

Who are you?

• You have basic knowledge of computers and systems (experience with e-commerce is a plus, but not a must).
• Experience with Lightspeed and/or Shopify is a plus.

2. Financial Manager 

Are you an experienced financial professional looking for a challenging position in the dynamic world of e-commerce? We are looking for a Financial Manager who will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and strategy to support our company's objectives. Our company specialises in lighting, so an affinity with both e-commerce and lighting is essential.

What will you be doing?

• Creating the financial planning and budgeting process, including forecasts and variance analyses.
• Managing financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
• Supervising our financial assistant in their daily work.
• Providing insight into company data for the director using tools such as PowerBI.
• Preparing the annual accounts.
• Taking care of the corporation tax return (VPB) and ICP return, and checking the associated items.
• Updating the cost overview per supplier.
• Determining the value of the stock and, if necessary, having it changed by the insurance company.
• Determining settlements between affiliated companies.
• Performing the year-end closing.
• Contributing ideas about price elasticity and sales prices, as well as suppliers' purchase prices.

What you bring to the table:

• A university degree in Finance, Accountancy or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in a financial management role, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards and legal requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with a globally dispersed team.

We are searching for a Financial Assistant to strengthen our team and support the Financial Manager in various financial tasks. Our company specialises in lighting, so an affinity with both e-commerce and lighting is an advantage.

What will you be doing? 

• Support the Financial Manager in daily financial activities.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Preparing financial reports and analyses.
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual accounts and monthly closings.
• Taking care of the corporation tax return (VPB) and ICP return.
• Updating the cost overview per supplier.
• Determining the value of the stock and reporting on this.
• Handling settlements between affiliated companies.
• Independently handling administrative and accounting tasks.
• Submitting difficult issues to the Financial Manager for further processing.

What you bring to the table: 

• A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree in Finance, Accountancy or a related field.
• Some experience in a financial or accounting role, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
• Basic knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities.
