Where do you use a plug-in wall light?
Plug-in wall lights are particularly practical next to the bed as a reading light. This keeps your bedside table clear and gives you focused light while reading. They are also excellent for home workspaces, above a console table in the hallway or in compact studio apartments where floor and table space is limited.
Installation, adjustability and light bulbs
Mount the wall light for ambient lighting at approximately 5 cm above eye level to prevent glare directly into the light source. If you use it as a reading light, mount it slightly lower and within easy reach. Many models feature a flexible arm or adjustable shade to direct the light where needed, as well as an inline switch or built-in dimmer switch.
