When should you order a separate track?
A separate track is useful if you want to extend an existing track system or create your own arrangement. All the parts in our 1-phase track range can be ordered separately, so you can put together a system that suits your space. You decide the length, shape and number of spotlights yourself, without being tied to a standard set.
Making a shape with connectors
With the right connectors, you can turn straight tracks into almost any shape you like. A straight connector extends the track, a 90-degree connector creates a corner, and a T-connector creates a branch. To create a U-shape, you need at least one extra track and two 90-degree connectors. For a T-shape, you need one extra track and one T-connector. Keep in mind that you only need one connector for each join. When you connect multiple tracks, the length taken up by the connectors is deducted from the total track length.
Lighting tracks in four colours
Choose the colour that best suits your ceiling and spotlights: black tracks, our most popular colour, which create a sleek contrast against a white ceiling; white tracks, which blend into a white ceiling so that only the light stands out; beige tracks, soft and warm, and lovely alongside natural tones; and brown tracks, a warm shade that pairs well with wood and earthy colours.
What to look out for when installing
The track can be cut to any length with a hacksaw and mitre box, and it comes with pre-drilled holes for easy fitting. You can also drill extra holes yourself if needed. Please note that the track is 3.4 cm wide. If the junction box in your ceiling is wider than the track, choose a square cover plate for a neat finish. Combining tracks with spotlights
Our tracks work with every track spotlight in our 1-phase range, so you're free to choose whichever model and colour you like. Bulbs are not included, so you can pick exactly the look and brightness you want.
