All of our festoon belts come as a single unit, with a plug at the beginning and an end cap at the end. This loose end cap can be purchased to reattach to the end of a festoon belt that has snapped, or that was cut.
The end cap can be attached using glue or silicon. This ensures the connection is waterproof. Another option to make the connection waterproof is using a heat shrink tube. Despite the end cap having a small hole, we would advise you to loop the end of the festoon belt together with a tie-wrap to create a hanging loop. The hanging loop can hold more tension than the end cap.
