Which style do you choose?

You will find shades in various styles, from sleek metal to a warm rattan look. A dark rattan look suits a natural or bohemian patio beautifully, while a metal shade gives a more industrial or hospitality-style look. The shades are made from polycarbonate, making them almost unbreakable and suitable for outdoor use.

Shades everywhere or only above the table?

You do not have to fit every bulb with a shade. A good option is to use shades above your dining table, where you need more focused light, and open bulbs elsewhere, where you mainly want atmosphere. This gives you a combination of practical and ambient lighting from the same cable. If you already have a festoon cable and want to change its look, you can also order separate festoon light shades.

Check the product details to make sure the shade is suitable for the type of bulb you are using. Our pear-shaped LED bulbs fit the shades best. Their shape makes them easier to fit; because the opening is relatively narrow, round bulbs do not fit all shades, so choose pear-shaped LED bulbs.
