Colour instantly gives your garden, party or venue a more festive feel. These festoon lighting sets come complete with coloured bulbs, so you only have to screw the bulbs into the bulb sockets and hang the cable. They are ideal for birthdays, garden parties or themed evenings.

All coloured or a mix?

A fully coloured festoon cable makes a bold statement and works well for parties. If you want something more subtle for everyday use, try a mix of colours: mainly warm white with the occasional coloured bulb. This keeps the overall look cosy while adding a splash of colour, without making your garden look like a fairground.

Change the atmosphere whenever you like

The bulbs are easy to screw in and out, so you can change the look of your festoon cable in just a few minutes. Many people keep two sets of bulbs and switch between them depending on the occasion: warm white for an ordinary summer evening and coloured bulbs for a celebration. Good to know

The bulbs have an E27 bulb socket and an almost unbreakable polycarbonate shade, making them a practical choice for parties. When choosing and extending your cable, make sure you do not exceed the maximum load: 15W per bulb socket and a maximum of 2300W per festoon cable. When screwing in a bulb, check that the sealing ring sits properly around it.
