What is a pendant light with integrated LED?

A pendant light with integrated LED already has the light source built into the fitting. So you don't need to buy a separate bulb or work out which lampholder you need: we've done that for you. The fitting is ready to use straight away and instantly gives the right light colour and brightness.

The advantages at a glance

Because the LED is fixed into the design, the fitting can be much slimmer and sleeker than one with a separate lampholder. That makes integrated LED ideal for minimalist and designer pendant lights, such as the elongated models above a dining table or desk. LEDs are also energy-efficient and built to last for years. Most of our LED pendant lights have a warm white (2700K), creating a cosy, inviting atmosphere.

Dimming with an LED pendant light

Many of our LED pendant lights are 3-step dimmable. You can switch between 100%, 50% and 7% brightness using your existing wall switch, with no dimmer needed, and the fitting remembers the last brightness level you chose. With these models, there's no need for an external dimmer, as the dimming function is already built in. Other models can be dimmed with an external wall dimmer switch, which lets you adjust the brightness smoothly. The product details always list which dimming option suits the fitting.

Integrated LED or choosing your own bulb?

With integrated LED, you get convenience and a sleek design, but the light colour is fixed. If you'd rather choose your own bulb, such as an elegant filament bulb, a model with an E27 lampholder is a better choice. That way, you can set the look and brightness exactly as you like.
