The OTG-FF emergency light is the most popular in our range with architects and designers, thanks to its sleek design. It has a 90-degree swivel, so it can be mounted on either the ceiling or the wall. The signs are supplied separately and can be applied to either side of the light. The housing and diffuser are made from high-quality plastic.
Need signs for a different escape route, or want one on both sides of the light? Order a separate set of eight signs.
The LED emergency lighting can be mounted above doors and windows and on walls. An emergency lighting specialist can help you work out how many areas need emergency lighting and how best to install it.
The light can be set to maintained (always on) or non-maintained (on only when needed). When set to maintained, the light stays on all the time, whether or not there’s a power cut. When set to non-maintained, the light only comes on when the mains power fails, then runs on its battery for three hours. Three hours is generally enough time for staff and visitors to leave a building, and it meets the legal requirement.
There are two versions of this light: the OTG-FF-6S and the OTG-FF-7S. In terms of electronics, both versions are identical. The only difference is the battery: the OTG-FF-6S has a standard Ni-Cd battery, while the OTG-FF-7S is fitted with a Ni-MH battery. The battery pack used in this light is also available separately, should you need to replace it in future.
